Water and will on Lyø

The vast majority of small Danish islands are fighting for survival - and Lyø is no exception. It is difficult to establish new inhabitants and create jobs - and the islanders must therefore think creatively and have the will to create something new. From this love for the island comes the initiative of the "Valdemar-Quelle".
Dumping the mineral-rich, spring-grade, soft water from the existing Lyø drinking water wells will use a natural resource in Lyø. The water comes from the same well, with which the waterworks of Lyø supply the inhabitants of the island with drinking water.

20% of the profits from the company will be invested in the future of the island, which should guarantee the survival of healthy island life.
The labels were designed by a local artist and show a drawing of Kong Valdemar and the Viking tomb Klokkestenen on Lyø.
